Demons Are Real creates an apocalyptic atmosphere of the late modernity existential emptiness and alienation with its new EP The Blessing Of Sorrow. A sharp criticism is addressed to our culture’s unbearable exposure of material values and at the same time a bitter comment is delivered to the media’s constant reproduction of stupidity and conformity.

Demons Are Real was formed in 2004 and had its debut two years later with the EP Hum Speed On/Off which was praised by the reviewers. A number of concerts followed including Skanderborg Festival, Vesterbro Festival, Gaffa Tour, Rust and Loppen.

The band includes members from other projects like Borderland, Decorate Decorate, Loopy and Yellowish. This translates into a varied musical universe which unites industrial music with elements from goth, noiserock, punk and neofolk.

Demons are Real live is a psycho drama where the inner demons are let loose. The numbers alternate between hectic numbers pushed forward by very tense desperation and heavy industrial compositions nourished by disillusioned impotence.
As an uncompromising outsider wearing his feelings on his sleeves Demons Are Real is a band which twists your ear and makes your eyes water.
